The image is what people see next to your ticker everywhere on SNEAKS: in the feeds, on the sneaker page and on the token page. Upload your own, or keep the medallion of your sneaker.

Formats

  • PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 5 MB.
  • The image is cropped to a centered square and saved as a 512 by 512 pixel WebP. Animated GIFs keep their first frame.
  • Drag and drop it on the create page, browse your files, or paste it from the clipboard.

Where images are stored

The image is uploaded when you press Launch, then its link is written into the token on chain. SNEAKS pins it to IPFS when IPFS storage is configured, and otherwise hosts it at a permanent address named after the image's content, so the link always shows the same picture.

The default medallion

Without an upload, the token uses the SNEAKS medallion generated for its sneaker. It's pinned to IPFS when IPFS storage is configured, and otherwise served from SNEAKS at a fixed address for that sneaker.

  • The market list on the home page and on Explore.
  • The Activity feed of new launches.
  • The paired tokens on the sneaker's page, your portfolio and the token page.
