sneaks

FAQ.

Short answers to the questions that come up most.

Is my token backed by the sneaker?

No. Pairing gives the token its identity only. The token isn't backed by the sneaker, can't be redeemed for it and doesn't follow its price.

Who receives the fees?

The trading fee and 70% of Pons' base fee go to the SNEAKS treasury. Pons keeps the rest of the base fee. See Fees.

Why isn't my token listed yet?

Listing starts once the transaction confirms and takes a few seconds. If the tab was closed, open SNEAKS again in the same browser and the listing is retried.

Can I change the name or the image after launch?

Not from SNEAKS. The details are written on chain when the token launches, so check them in the preview before you sign.

Which wallets can I use?

Browser wallets such as MetaMask, Rabby and Coinbase Wallet, on Robinhood Chain.

Where do sneaker prices come from?

From StockX's US market, read through KicksDB when the catalog is synced. See Reading market data.

Does SNEAKS sell sneakers?

No. SNEAKS shows marketplace data to identify and describe pairs. It doesn't sell, hold or ship sneakers.

Is SNEAKS affiliated with Robinhood, Pons, StockX or a brand?

No affiliation or endorsement is implied. SNEAKS uses Robinhood Chain and the Pons V2 contracts like any other app, and brand names identify sneakers only.
