Reading market data.
Sneaker pages show resale figures from StockX in the US market, in US dollars. Here is what each figure means and where it comes from.
Estimated value
The average sale price over the last 90 days, when the pair sold at least 3 times in that window. Otherwise the 12-month average is used. The label under the figure says which window it is and how many sales it covers.
Figures
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Lowest ask | The cheapest price a seller currently asks, in any size. |
| Average ask | The average of the current asks. |
| Sales / 7d | Orders over the last week, as reported by StockX. |
| 12-month trade range | The typical low and high sale prices over the last year. |
| vs retail | How far the average sale price sits above or below the retail price. |
| Prices by size | The lowest ask for each size, the number of asks and sales over 30 days. |
Two separate markets
Token figures (price, market cap, volume, curve progress) describe the SNEAKS token and are read from Robinhood Chain. Sneaker figures describe the resale market of the pair. SNEAKS always labels them separately.
When data is missing
If a figure isn't available from a real source, SNEAKS shows that there's no data instead of estimating it.
