How SNEAKS works

Every token has a pair

When you launch a token on SNEAKS, you choose a sneaker from the catalog. That sneaker becomes the token's collectible identity: it's shown with the token everywhere on SNEAKS.

Several tokens can be paired with the same sneaker.

What pairing doesn't mean

A paired token isn't backed by the sneaker, doesn't represent ownership of it, and can't be redeemed for it. It isn't a fraction of a sneaker.

A token's price doesn't track the sneaker's price.

Two separate markets

Token market data (token price, market cap, volume, holders) describes the SNEAKS token. Sneaker market data describes the sneaker's resale value. SNEAKS always labels them separately.

When a figure isn't available from a real data source, SNEAKS shows “No data yet” instead of an estimate.

Preview mode

This build isn't connected to a launch contract or a token market. Launches run in preview mode: the token is saved in your browser only. Nothing is deployed, signed or paid, and trading isn't available.

Sneaker catalog

The catalog in this build is SNEAKS development data. It identifies sneakers by brand, model, colorway and style ID, and carries no market prices. Grails and Top sneakers are SNEAKS' own editorial picks, not rarity ratings.
